Here goes!

I've been dragged, kicking and screaming, into the blogosphere. Please bear with me as I find my way around. To paraphrase Bette Davis: Fasten your seat belts. It's likely to be a bumpy blog.

Getting right down to it, then, last evening I uploaded a new product to my store at Gotta Pixel. I's full of wintery things like soft flannels and a flickering fireplace:

My youngest grandchild is 4 years old now. He was born right before a huge snowstorm. I took a picture out my daughter's bathroom window and I love the way it turned out, looking just like a window. One of these days I'll get it framed and give it to her! I also loved the way Reed looked all bundled up and so tiny in he carseat when he went in for his 2 week old check up. I scrapped both those images with Warm and Cozy:

Just for good measure, here are a couple of close-ups of the elements from Warm & Cozy, which contains 22 300 dpi 12" x 12" background papers in jpg format as well as a full alphabet with 26 capital letters, 26 lower case letters, 10 numerals and 11 punctuation marks, including 3 sets of brackets and a binder clip3 ribbon knots, 5 bows, 4 plaid glass covered brads, 5 patterned buttons, 3 plain buttons, 3 paper clips, both fronts and backs, 2 sets of photo corners, 1 fireplace, 2 frames, pink and blue mittens on strings, 1 pine tree, 8 ribbons, 3 ric-rac, 1 wool scarf, 3 journaling tags and 2 tiles.

If you've read this far and you think you'd like to use Warm & Cozy for some of your wintery layouts, here's a coupon, good for a month from today, for 25% off the purchase price. Just enter DAY1BLOG during check out.

To quote another Hollywood star: I'll be back!
